So a few days ago, it was Charlie's birthday. He's 23 now!

9 P.M. in Connecticut is 3 A.M. in Switzerland. He stayed up to wait for his little sis, they've been doing this every year since he left, and vice versa. He's gonna have to get his hands on some kinda cake soon, lol. Another kitchen incident?!

Goes without saying that lots and lots of references were used for the backgrounds, including google sketchup -- it was an excuse to draw a cute little girl's bedroom and I built around that, shh :iconheblushplz:
I know it's 2060 in MZ time but I didn't want to detract from the simple message/interiors with fancy technology, so I used pretty boring stuff here. It's kind of a throwback to Charlie's original story where everything is retrofuturism, which is why he dresses like an old man. Or IDK, could be Charlie has an irrational hatred of holograms or something :iconminghideplz:

tbh we weren't given an image of what the buildings and stuff look like in this setting so...I would think this is fine 8D I really like the details of her room, the cupboards, chair, including the mirror ajkshdkajslad

Yeah, I looked up what military academy dorms looked like and the unifying feature was how plain and empty they were, lol. I'm glad you like those details, it was fun to paint them :icongtthplz: <3
